Cool Tools for Schools

This site is mentioned in the Bristol Scheme of Work for ICT and may be useful to fill in some of the gaps when  completing units you don't have the software for.

Let me know if you find any really useful ones on this site and I will mention them in this post.

TUTPUP

Welcome to Tutpup, where you can compete in fun, educational games against other kids from all over the World!

You have a minute to answer as many Maths questions or Spellings as you can against an online opponent.  The spellings require headphones or speakers.

No login is necessary, the login allows the user to record their activity and gives you a ranking on the world leaderboard.  My son love this competitiveness and is aiming to be number 1 in the world.  The login in done in a safe anonomous environment.  No chat facilities.

ICT Games

A website useful for the Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1.  The site contains simple numeracy and literacy games for younger children.  Some of the activities are good on an IWB.
